Hailing from Hull, UK singer-songwriter CHARLOTTE shares her new single ‘Nervous’, from her forthcoming EP, Nowhere To Hide, out on May 3rd. The catchy new tune captures the feelings and internal conflict that can form during the early stages of a potential relationship. “I still get nervous/below the surface/when you’re in the room”, she sings, as she delves into the complicated emotions that have a frustrating way of throwing things off track and messing with your self-esteem. Oh the joys of over-thinking, eh!
Speaking on the new release, she said: “I’ve been holding onto ‘Nervous’ for quite some time. It’s the one that always seems to stick in people’s heads for days after they see it live. I’m one of those people who’s never managed to get into a proper ‘grown up’ relationship. This song’s about a time when I messed it up before I even got to the relationship stage with someone. Well done me. I hope people love it!”
