The BRIT Awards 2019: Nominees, performances + more

It’s almost time to roll out the red carpet for the biggest night in UK music, as the BRIT Awards return on February 20. The annual awards ceremony will once again take to London’s O2 Arena, to shine a spotlight on some of the UK’s most talented musicians; while dishing out awards and showcasing a string of performances while they are at it.

This years nominations see the ladies lead the way, with Anne-Marie, Dua Lipa and Jess Glynne up for four awards each, in categories including British Single and Artist Video of the Year. Jorja Smith and George Ezra are just behind them with three nominations each, while the likes of Clean Bandit, Tom Walker and Florence + The Machine receive two.

As well as the awards, we can also expect to see a stellar line-up of performances from artists such as George Ezra, Little Mix, Jorja Smith and The 1975. Making his debut on the BRITs stage will also be Calvin Harris, who will be hosting a set with support from the brilliant Dua Lipa, Sam Smith and Rag’n’Bone Man.
