There’s no denying the fact that Dua Lipa is pretty much stealing the show right now, and if she wasn’t on your radar already, then you
probably definitely learned all about her when her self-titled debut album dropped last year. We for one, couldn’t get enough of it and it seems neither could a lot of people, as she was named Spotify UK’s most streamed female artist of the year 2017.
Bursting with refreshing, catchy and empowering tunes, Dua sure does know how to mix the perfect combination of hit-making elements and new single ‘IDGAF’ is a pure example of that. The feisty new release which blatantly let’s her ex know that she’s done putting up with his s**t (go girl!), has been released with an official music video to accompany it. Directed by Henry Scholfield, the visuals which appear to see Dua Lipa caught up in a dance battle against herself, have been creatively designed to portray the importance of self love.
Dua said: “This video is about your stronger and weaker side fighting with each other only to realise that self love is what will help you overcome any negativity that comes your way.”
