Each One Teach One Trust (EOTO) is a registered charity and grant giving trust founded by musician/actor/director Ben Drew (Plan B) in 2012. EOTO Funds inspiring projects in East London to help young people age 14-25 to build their skills, which will later on help to improve their futures.
They are currently focusing on the 4 east London boroughs of: Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets & Waltham Forest and plan to expand and reach other areas of London in the future, eventually aspiring to spread their support right across the UK.
EOTO want to ensure that the work they fund and support is needed, has the highest level of impact and most importantly is not duplicating provision that is already being delivered within the boroughs, therefore they need YOU!
Here’s how you can get involved: EOTO are putting together a group of dynamic and focused interns who can help to research provision for young people within; Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets & Waltham Forest. Gathering knowledge of training and development opportunities available to young people aged 14-25, which will then assist in developing a database of information, helping to identify the area’s most in need across each borough, creating an online interactive dataset and simplifying the data into an info graphic filled booklet that will be handed out at their launch event on April 30th.
The research team will be comprised as follows:
• Four researchers – to each focus on one particular borough, utilize local knowledge, contact/visit organisations of interest and provide data to the EOTO director.
• One data analyst – to analyse the data once complete and discover insights in line with information on local demographics.
• One designer – to develop the data into an interesting and eye catching infographic
The deadline is Friday 8th February at 5pm so act fast!
